I am compelled to write you in regards to one of the most honest, forthright, and customer oriented companies I have ever had the pleasure to do business with. In the not too distant past, I had 8 people ready to travel to Lake Powell to spend the week on a house boat. Two days before we were ready to depart the transmission on my truck was not doing a very good job of moving my truck, let alone, able to pull a boat to the lake. I contacted Colorado Transmissions and they were willing to take on the repair and completed it by the end of the following day. Now the trucks shifts better than it ever did even when it was new. I could not be more please with the work done and especially the manner I as treated.

Recently while visiting in Monument, we started to have trouble with our Ford Taurus. After many phone calls and some scary over the phone diagnoses, our son suggested taking it to your shop. Although we had been told by others that we would need a new transmission, you very quickly found the problem, got the part, fixed it, checked it out, charged us a reasonable amount and sent us on our way. I want to thank you for one, agreeing to squeeze us into your busy schedule, two, for fixing it quickly, and three, for being an honest person, as you could have, but did not, take advantage of travelers. What made our situation more stressful at the time was that we were traveling with two small children. We got home to Albuquerque just fine with no more problems with the car, and it is still doing great.

I was on a temporary assignment to Intel Corporation at the Garden of the Gods chip plant. Shortly after arriving I experienced transmission problems and was referred by a co-worker to Colorado Transmissions. The problem that was supposedly fixed 3 years ago by another shop in the Springs, when I was here before, working at Intel. At the time, I was treated rudely, it took more time and money to complete than I was quoted and it still wasn’t repaired right.
When I brought my truck into Barry (the owner) he explained what they needed to do to analyze the problem. Barry later called me back with their results. He quoted me half of what it cost the first time and to fix it right. It also took less time to repair and was delivered on time. When you live out of town it is really easy to be taken advantage of, but at Colorado Transmissions it was a very pleasant business to work with and the shop is one of the cleanest and most organized auto repair facilities that I have seen and their service is second to none.
